Game Introduction:

Cards with Personalities is a deck-building game where you start with ten cards: seven bards and three guards. Each turn, draw five cards and use them to buy minions or slay monsters in the middle lane. Minions cost gold and join your deck when bought, while monsters cost attack and are removed after defeat. Bosses have special attack patterns based on turn count. Your goal is to reduce the boss's health to zero while managing your own health. Earn XP to unlock new bosses and backgrounds.

How to Play:

Use arrow keys or D-pad to move the cursor. Press Z or A/Y to select actions. Press X or B/X for secondary info. Each turn, draw cards, then choose a card to play. Select a monster to slay or minion to buy. Use remaining attack to hit the boss. End your turn by pressing the action button on your deck. Resources reset, monsters attack, and boss checks trigger. Draw five new cards to start the next turn.
